I need to go canoeing.
None of us (wife, kid, me) have been canoeing since Oct. 1st. The whole having a baby on Oct. 5 put a rude end to my paddling season. I won't take Eli out until the water warms up along with the air, but all I need is some warm air and I would be happy. Hopefully we will have a warm March and I can get out some.
It's been a while….
I have been sick, thats my excuse. I am still recovering from a cold. A couple weeks ago I update the EJ site: http://tomcook.net/ej. There are some new pictures and a new movie.
Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies
My father-in-law lent me this book and so far it is right up my alley. It is anthropology based and I am loving it. I haven't really read anything about anthro since college and its nice to get thinking again. With a kid I just get to read it in 5 minute chunks.
