So I read a cool article about Apple's new Mac Mini. The article has a full review along with a take apart. Lots of great photos.

iLife '05
So I got my copy of the new iLife yesterday. It's pretty cool. As with most any software there are cool new things, things that are missing, and things that I will never use.
iPhoto 5 is cool, it has more advanced tools to adjust photo balance and a more intuitive interface. It also creates softcover books as well as a variety of sizes now. Garageband 2 now has notation features but you can't print out the sheet music, which is lame. iDVD, which I have only used a couple times, now has more themes. I need to make more DVDs but I don't really have any video that I want to burn anyway. iMovie does HD video now, but who has a HD camcorder? Another program that I rarely use, I don't have a camera so why do I need to edit video.
WoW
So Worlds of Warcraft is coming out soon, and the open beta has started, I am currently downloading the 2.4 Gb installer so I can play it on the eMac at work that is the only machine that I have access to that can actually play it…..
I need a new computer.
Firefox 1.0
So the best cross platform web browser is finally at 1.0
For you people who do web development you should also check out this plugin that gives firefox or mozillia cool features.
FireFox PR 1.0 is out
Diablo II
Bob has been playing Diablo II recently, so last night I attempted to install it. The expansion would not install in classic, and my computer dosen't like booting into OS9. So I had to wipe the iBook and put 9.1 on it. Then install Daiblo II and the expansion on the iBook and copy it to the G4. So today hopefully I can play it.
DSH WOOT!!!!
I finally got around to getting DSH working on all the Lab computers at work. Now I can run a command on all the computers at once. Great for running radmind, or just messing with people.
GRASS GIS
So I think I'm going to look at GRASS it looks cool and is X11 based. I hope it works out to be a good alternative to ArchView/ArchGIS
