Answering Phones

Tonight Bridgit and I answered phones at WEMU, our local NPR station. For those of you who listen to commercial radio: public radio stations twice a year ask for money and that's how they fund the station. The benifit: no commercials except for two weeks out of the year and great programming.

This was our first time volunteering and we had a great time. I plan on doing it again in the Fall. You get to hang out at the station and put faces with the voices you hear every day. So DONATE to your local NPR station.

Getting the boats ready

It looks like it's going to be another warm week. I am hoping to get the canoes prepped this week. Bridgit's Nighthawk suffered some damage a few weeks ago when a large doll house fell from its shelf in the barn. I am going to have to do some gel-coat repair. I don't think the glass was compromised, or else I will have to do a patch.
